UPDATE!! Dj Tunez Soon To Drop New EP With Wizkid

Nigerian veteran DJ and producer, DJ Tunez is set to release an EP, ‘Cruise Control’ and it would seem that Afrobeats king, Wizkid is on the E.P.

DJ Tunez made this announcement on Sunday, 14th of August 2022 on his social media page, “New DJ Tunez x Wizkid drops on August 26th, pre-order now!” The project which he has dubbed ‘Cruise Control’ Vol. 1 is an EP that DJ Tunez has been talking about for some time now and it would seem he is finally ready to drop it.

The announcement had fans in anticipation as they could not contain their excitement. Many said it’s about time they heard Wizkid on a track, the last one coming in July which was a feature on American R&B artiste Chris Brown’s ‘Call Me Everyday.’

A combo of DJ Tunez and Wizkid is always very much welcome as they have been working together for as far back as 2015 when DJ Tunez was asked by Wizkid to join Starboy Entertainment as their official DJ.

In recent times, they’ve created amazing songs together, ‘Gbese’ in 2019, and ‘Cool Me Down’ in 2020. ‘Pami’ which was also released in 2020, saw DJ Tunez feature Wizkid, Adekunle Gold, and Omah Lay. These songs became hits as soon as they dropped so it certainly is not an exaggeration to say any time DJ Tunez links up with Wizkid, magic is made.

‘Cruise Control’ is set to drop on the 26th of August and anticipation is in order. Wizkid also has his album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ coming up this 2022 so it really is an exciting time for fans, both in Nigeria and abroad.
