Manchester United are back in pre-season action on Saturday when they face familiar foes Aston Villa in their fourth match of the summer schedule.

Erik ten Hag has won his first three matches in charge of United and will be hoping for another strong showing from his side today as the new season edges closer.

It looks set to be United’s toughest test of the summer so far, with Villa boss Steven Gerrard stating he will use the match to give minutes to the players he expects to be involved in their season opener in two weeks’ time.

Erik ten Hag has made two changes to the line-up that started against Crystal Palace on Monday, with Luke Shaw and Donny van de Beek in for Tyrell Malacia and Scott McTominay.
