What You Should Know About UI Admission

UI is one of the top federal universities in Nigeria, you should know that its not easy gaining admission into the institution, not scaring you, but you should be prepared for the unexpected as well.

Let’s take last year Admission process for UI as a case study

Most of us knew how the recent admission process went and how stressful and slow it was.

I believe things will be different this year, whether or not Post UTME will be done this year is not yet ascertained but notwithstanding, you should keep reading, reading is not a waste *LOL*

How was it?

Last year, UI made use of both Jamb & SSCE result as modality for admission.

UI was among the Universities that made use of “Point System“… University of Lagos did the same.

University of Ibadan made use of 50-50 point system for the recent admission screening conducted by the school, which means 50% for your jamb and 50% fr your SSCE results, you have to have strong jamb score and strong grades in your ssce results.

Those with good grades have upper hand in the point based system.

Be ready for anything, if you know you are using two SSCE results or weak grades try as much as possible to score high in jamb.

The modalities or criteria for this year Admission is unknown yet like I said earlier…. Notwithstanding be prepared for anything.
