The general public is informed that the Akwa Ibom State University 2017/18 Direct Entry Application Form is out. This information is to prepare you and inform you of all the processes of the application. We will also list the whole requirements and how you can apply for it.

While announcing the Akwa Ibom State University 2017/18 Direct Entry Application Form, the school management announced “This is to inform candidates who made Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) their choice of institution in the ongoing JAMB Direct Entry registration on successful completion of their registration, they are to visit the main campus in Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin L.G.A to submit the following listed documents as required by the institution.

JAMB Direct Entry registration

  • Jamb Direct Entry Registration slip showing candidates passport.
  • O’Level result [of not more than two sittings].
  • Certificate of National Diploma from previously attended Institution.
  • Transcript of academic results from previously attended Institution.
  • Birth certificate (or Affidavit equivalent).
  • Certificate of origin.

To apply, the interested candidates should submit the above listed requirements to the school’ registry at Ikot-Akpaden and submitted in two photocopies for each document. And it’s applicable for only DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES WHO MADE AKSU AS THEIR CHOICE OF INSTITUTION in Jamb 2017 Direct entry registration”.

General requirement

Candidates for Direct Entry admission must possess any of the following qualifications:

  1. Two (2) passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents in relevant subjects and at least credit passes in three (3) other subjects, including English Language at GCE (O/L), WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
  2. Three (3) passes at GCE A/L, HSC, IJMB or approved equivalents in relevant subjects and at least credit passes in two (2) other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two sittings.
  3. Two (2) passes at merit level or above in two (2) recognized NCE, OND, HND subjects or approved equivalents and at least 3 credit passes in other subjects including English Language at GCE O/L WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than 2 sittings.
